Jacob Stanford and Caleb Niednagel took the top two spots in the boys seeded race at the 44th Stanford Invitational at Stanford Golf Course to help La Costa Canyon CA place second to Claremont CA by a 76-86 margin. Jacob Stanford covered the 5-kilometer course in 15:10.9 and Niednagel ran 15:14.9, with Garrett Stanford finishing 10th in 15:32.2. Andy Pueschel was 20th in 15:47.2 and James Miramontes finished 60th in 16:22.2 for the Mavericks.
