Cal Poly placed fifth in the women's 6-kilometer race with 139 points at the 44th Stanford Invitational at Stanford Golf Course. Miranda Daschian was 11th in 21:17.8, Abigail Fisk finished 25th in 21:43.3, Katie Izzo took 27th in 21:50.5, Maddie McDonald secured 39th in 22:09.2 and Peyton Bilo placed 42nd in 22:13.5 in her first cross country competition since the 2016 NCAA Division 1 final and her first race of any kind since last year's NCAA Division 1 5,000-meter championship.
